All horses taking part in Western Mounted Games  will have to be registered as from February 1st. Registration for 2012 is free.
This is so that you & your horse can accumulae points towards the end of the year where  the top points earning horse will be rewarded. A rider may register as many  horses as they would like, and also may compete on as many horses as they would  like, but will only earn points for a show on the horse they competed on (as  a team). No one horse/rider combination may compete at more than 6 classes per  show. Riders may enter as many horses as they want into a show. Points will be  calculated back to the first show of 2012 where the rider/horse team competed  in. Please download your Horse Registration form

I think S.A. will greatly benefit from this sport, and it's long overdue to have a unbiased organisation promoting this sport. I cannot wait to become part of it and to start promoting it in our area. Thanks a lot and your website is very professional.

Larry Kuyper (USTPA President Elect)
I had to smile when I saw the poles, barrels, keyhole ribbon race, etc. since these are the events that I "cut my teeth on" as a teenager. Many of the skills I now possess come from figuring out how to stay on as it felt like my horse and I were going as fast as the wind. I built on my teenage experiences by the almost 20 years in the reining world which provided me the technical piece that I now use developing my penning and sorting horses.

I'm  glad we can have something like Western Mounted Games in our country.

Clinton Whitehead

Good on you Chris, you've got my full and unwavering support.
I'm  particularly impressed with the web site and your profesional presentation. You're DOING what is absolutely necessary to get Western Horsemanship on the road properly. From my own standpoint the fund raising activity you have adopted is also the way foreward. I wish the very best and lots of success.

What a weekend. Think I've eaten enough dust to last a lifetime, but every smile on every face was worth it.  Western Mounted Games ROCK!
